Established as Jagirdar’s College by the Seventh Nizam of Hyderabad – H.E.H. Mir Osman Ali Khan – in 1923, in Begumpet, Hyderabad; the Hyderabad Public School is older than the Indian Republic. Pre-Primary to Grade XII : CISCE (ICSE & ISC)

Grades I to VIII : English, Mathematics, General Science(Physics, Chemistry, Biology), History & Civics, Geography, Language-I (French, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu), Language-II(French, Hindi, Sanskrit, Telugu), Computer Science, Value Education and General Knowledge. 

SUPW, Art & Craft and Yoga are also part of the school curriculum.

Grades IX & X : English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History & Civics, Geography, Language-I (French, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu), Value Education, General Knowledge and an optional subject

Optionals include – Art, Commercial Applications, Computer Applications, Economic Applications, Home Science, Physical Education and Yoga

Admission

Admission Process : 

  • Provisional forms are issued in the month of February. 
  • Fill up the forms and submit it in the school office
  • Entrance exam will be conducted for Class – IX
  • The application will be processed and the decision will be communicated

Process for Grade XI : 

1. Issue of Application forms in the month of May after the board results.
2. Collection of application forms
3. Scrutiny based on the merit
4. Counselling session for parents and student
5. Entrance exam for the students coming from other boards
6. Release of selected list
7. Issue of Challan to the selected students for fee payment
