About School

The school is set in a beautiful blossoming green environment. In these times of box-like structures that schools have become, Suchitra Academy provides the right environment for the holistic development of body, soul and mind of the students. Suchitra Academy is an English-medium Co-ed day School in Hyderabad offering education from Pre-Primary grades to class XII. Each child learns differently with their unique abilities and we provide holistic education to each Suchitran through PBL, sports, student exchange programs, student-led initiatives and Internationalism.

Assessment and Reporting:

There is no formal assessment for Pre-primary grades.

Cambridge assessments are designed to be fair, valid, reliable and practicable, so that every exam provides a true picture of a student’s ability, wherever and whenever the exam was taken. This means our assessments have real, lasting value and can be a lifelong passport to further study or employment.

Teaching Methodology:
  1. Pre-primary : IEYC uses international best practices, holistic enquiry and play-based approaches that cover all curriculum areas including personal, social and emotional development.
  2. Elementary : The methodology at the Primary School level aims to create joy in learning and to foster innate curiosity in children through concrete hands-on learning experiences
  3. Middle School : Project-based learning - It is a student-centered pedagogy that involves a dynamic classroom approach in which students acquire a more profound knowledge through active exploration of real-world challenges and problems.
  4. Secondary School : In the senior grades, a unique experience is offered to build our students’ leadership skills. Community service, an active student council, yearly excursions and AFS intercultural programmes are an important part of the calendar
Classrooms:

Suchitra Academy has built large, spacious classrooms (almost 600 sq. ft), airy, brightly lit and pleasant. The classrooms can accommodate up to 30 students and are equipped with airconditioners.There are cubby-holes for students to keep their books, sports gear, etc. and they also have walls lined with soft boards for displays. Furthermore, they have interactive boards with computers connected to high-speed internet, along with projector screens. A student teacher ratio of 1:12 is maintained.

Admission Process : 

For Grade I – Minimum of 5 yrs and 6 months as on 30th June and so on

  • Campus Visit
  • A  fitment test is conducted  followed by an interview round with the prospective students and parents
  • Final Decision
