SPES follows CISCE curriculum (ICSE - X and ISC - XII).
All Presidency Schools have a self-designed curriculum, which has evolved after years of research and expertise. The curriculum is based on a Thematic or Integrated approach to studying. No expense is spared towards the development in the advanced fields of Science and Technology, Mathematics, Humanities, Information Technology, Computers and Art, among others.
- Assessment and Reporting:

No tests or examinations are conducted from Kindergarten to Grade II. At these levels, assessments are an ongoing part of everyday activity. Portfolios containing worksheets with specific learning objectives are maintained for every student, and will be available with the class teacher for the parent to follow the child’s progress. Students in Grade III upward will have weekly tests and semester exams. After each semester exam, the performance of the student is analyzed and remedial classes are provided to those who require them.

Elementary education is the basis for the child’s future and determines his/ her success in life. At SPES, we believe that children must receive a thorough grounding of whatever concepts they learn and that this learning has to be integrated with life. The motto of the school is, ‘maximum growth of each learner’.

SPES is equipped with spacious, modern classrooms. The learning atmosphere is livened with brightly painted furniture and colourful display boards. Rooms are decorated with children’s work, giving them a strong sense of ownership and pride. Outside areas contain a wide range of child-friendly equipment and activities, with lots of greenery.
Admission
- Children applying for Grade I to VIIl are tested on the grade-appropriate concepts in English, Maths and EVS /Science.
- For Kindergarten children, it is an interaction session, where the Admissions Officer checks to see if the child is ready to be admitted in the class for which he/she has applied.
Prospective students of all levels will have to appear for a placement test on the scheduled day, before they are enrolled.
