SNIS offers International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) for Primary Years (Nursery – Grade V). The SNIS Middle School Programme (SMSP) for Grade 6 to 8 is an innovative curriculum designed with interconnected disciplines which ensures smooth progression from the PYP to the IGCSE and IBDP. Cambridge IGCSE is offered for 9 & 10, IB Diploma is offered for 11 & 12.
In addition to English (language of instruction), SNIS offers ESL, Hindi, French, Spanish and Kannada.
- Teaching Methodology:

SNIS uses techniques of teaching (pedagogy) that promote self-learning through a multi-skill, learner-centered, and activity based approach. As a Thinking School, we help our students to explore concepts, ideas, and issues that are of local and global significance. Our teachers emphasize research and encourage students to learn from their peers, with students actively critiquing one another’s work. The emphasis is on how to learn rather than what to learn.

Classrooms are spacious with ample natural lighting and good cross-ventilation as per international standards to ensure student health and well-being. Students are imparted education in a modern way using smart boards and white boards so that learning in the classroom is fun and engaging. SNIS Outstanding Achievement Scholarships are awarded to those candidates who demonstrate outstanding academic aptitude, leadership skills and display artistic and/or athletic excellence. The SNIS Scholarship Program is available to all new applicants for IBDP Grade 11 & 12.
