About Currriculum :

Grades Pre-Primary to Grade 8 - Since the school has the flexibility to structure the curriculum in these classes it draws on the best practices available in the National and International domain while transacting the syllabus.

Redbridge offers

  • ICSE and Cambridge IGCSE curriculum for 9 &10
  • IBDP and ISC in 11 & 12.

The languages taught in Redbridge academy include English, Hindi, Kannada, and French.

Assessment and Reporting:

Pre - Primary - Continuous Assessment. Primary Grades 1 to 3 - MR [Monthly review ] in the Subjects - English, 2nd Language, Mathematics and EVS. The student is evaluated on the topics done in the previous month. There are normally 6 MRs in the academic year. Grades 4 to 9 - two unit tests and 2 term exams. Apart from this the children are also expected to complete a project in each term.

Teaching Methodology:

Methodologies may included strategies that provide children with the environment for experiential learning. The teacher may also adopt techniques to provide differentiated instruction, adapt a thematic or interdisciplinary approach and involve multiple intelligences. At Redbridge International Academy, the responsibility of learning shifts from the teacher to the student, thus making learning self-directed, student-centric and personalized.

Classrooms:

The rooms are large, well-lit, well-ventilated, and contain the best that technology has to offer. Every classroom, laboratory and some of the activity rooms are provided with promethean smart boards with preloaded syllabus content and access to the internet. Classrooms are replete with Ergonomically designed individual furniture that gives flexibility, freedom and helps maintain personal space & distance to students.

Redbridge International Academy is open for admissions throughout the year. The admissions are open for grades Pre Nursery to Grade 12.
