Gitanjali International School Bangalore (GISB)

Cambridge is a global curriculum that is offered by the prestigious University of Cambridge through its CIE (Cambridge International Examinations) certified centres such as GISB. GISB offers not only the IGCSE ‘O’ levels (Xth grade) but also the GCSE ‘AS’ and ‘A’ levels (11th and 12th Grades).

Assessment for Cambridge IGCSE includes written and oral tests, coursework and practical assessment. GISB offers its pupils the option of assessment by way of combining examinations with coursework. Coursework is set and marked by the teacher and externally moderated by Cambridge.

At GISB, we encourage learning through many ways, namely

• Kinesthetic: learning based on hands on work and engaging in activities
• Visual: learning based on observation and what is being learned
• Auditory: learning based on listening to instructions/information.

All buildings built to international standards with each class room having an area of 750 sft. Maximum strength in a class is restricted to 15 students, from grade 4 to grade 7, and to 20 students per class from Grade 8 to 12 so as conform to international standards.

The campus is a completely Wi-fi campus with the classrooms being equipped with modern Audio Visual learning equipments so as to facilitate better and enhanced learning.
