Academics

Co-Ed
Medium: English
Pre Primary to Class 12
Currriculum:
Class X : IGCSE, NIOS    Class XII : Cambridge A/AS Level, NIOS
About Currriculum :

NIOS - provides opportunities to interested learners to give exams in a self paced manner. We offer Cambridge International curriculum (IGCSE, A/AS Level), which builds a student’s aptitude, analytical skills, and comprehension extensively.

We provide three pathways for academics at Creative. Free Progress - Education is inspired by The Mother’s and Sri Aurobindo’s works on Education. The concept of such a curriculum is not based on just any subject – but the child’s journey as they navigate their own areas of passion and interest.

Session starts in:
May
Assessment and Reporting:

We do not have assessments based on exams at primary grades. We have investigations, thematic project work, student initiated self checks, short on-demand tasks, and writing assignments as part of our classes. Even though there are no formal exams until the 8th, children are given tests and self-check rubrics that help them review what they have learnt. Students studying towards the Cambridge IGCSE exams learn under the framework of Cambridge Checkpoint in middle school to help them learn the skills required.

Teaching Methodology:

Lessons and project based work offered integrates language, math and science objectives/goals. Children are guided to engage in active learning, helping them make observations and derive their own “learning”. We usually have block periods of 90 mins which help in immersion and bring in a slowness that helps digestion and reflection. for a subject and balance it out by having music, art, and creative movement classes that help children assimilate their learnings.

Classrooms:

There are 16-24 children with two teachers in each classroom. Each mixed age group across two grades have between 35 to 45 children divided into two classrooms. Older and younger children learn from one another as well as teach each other in their own ways. The teacher:student ratio is at 1:12. A Sacred Environment helps restore and redirect energy in an intentional manner, balances the left and right brain of students, promoting intuitive and focused learning.
