Vision

We feel that the most basic learning that can happen is regarding ourselves, our conditioning, the conflicts in our minds and the social expression they have, the nature of our hopes, desires, ambitions and frustrations, and about what it means to live a fundamentally deep and peaceful life.

The ability to pay is not a criterion for admission; we provide unconditional financial support to parents who are serious about this kind of education. The income of the school comes from three sources: the contribution from parents, donations from a global network of well-wishers and the income from our corpus.

Academics

Co-Ed
Medium: English
class 6 to Class 12
Currriculum:
Class X : IGCSE    Class XII : Cambridge A/AS Level
About Currriculum :

The in-house curriculum through the years, is a dynamic response to what we perceive as movements in children and in the world at large. The school curricula includes junior (8-12 years old), middle (13-14 years old) and senior (14-18 years old) school.

The students are presented for the IGCSE examination for the tenth standard, and the International A levels at the time of graduation. Both certifications are given by Cambridge Assessment International Education (formerly Cambridge International Examinations). All senior school students participate in a General Studies course, which is concerned with social and environmental awareness

Assessment and Reporting:

Learning that is driven by the fear of examinations kills curiosity and intrinsic motivation. The teachers provide feedback to the student and the parents informally as often as necessary. Formal, written feedback is provided once every year. The reports are a qualitative record of the students’ life in school during the year and contain a review of their academic work and comments on their social and emotional life.

Teaching Methodology:

Our education encourages a deep learning, both from adults and children, into the nature of our daily lives and into the social processes that surround us. When we say “learning,” we don’t only mean academic or text-based learning but an inquiry into the complex daily process of life, thought and emotion. This learning is by definition fluid and tentative, as it reflects the complexities of the realities that constitute our lives.

Admission

Being a small school, we can offer very few spaces to children each year. Students are not subject to any tests or assessment. Admissions will be confirmed only after we meet both prospective parents and students face to face. We invite applications from parents only if you are Bangalore based and if your child’s date of birth is within the range mentioned on the site.
