Arya Vidya Mandir is a group of schools offering English medium education under ICSE board and focuses on holistic growth of the child. What started off as a modest experiment 5 decades ago in 1970, AVM today is a leading ICSE school in Mumbai with 3 full-fledged schools – AVMBW, AVMBE, AVMJ besides the AVM Institute of Early Childcare Education and the Institute of Special Education. AVM’s educati onal philosophy was conceived along modern lines with the best in terms of holistic development, innovative methodology and scientific approach seamlessly balanced with a solid foundation steeped in Indian values, with love for our culture and heritage. Play School to Class 2 classes are housed in Santacruz while the larger Bandra West premises houses the older classes from Class 3 to Class ten.

- No Textbook (NTB) is a policy of the school which involves information and knowledge from multiple resources in the absence of a prescribed textbook.
- Computational Thinking Skills (CTS) is a problem solving skill based on decomposition, patter recognition, abstraction, algorithm.
- Monteiro Method is designed upon a discovery approach to learn Math through the do and discover method which is a hands on method for teaching. Here the teacher presents a real life situation to the class.
- Need Based Learning Program (NBLP) is conducted classwise . The students are divided into 7 groups, according to specific needs in various areas of learning ,like: Math, Language Development, Hindi, Reading, Writing, Developing Independent Thinkers , bridging General Learning Gaps.
